Shantanu's work with Motopaws caught the attention of Tata Trusts, a philanthropic organization founded by the Tata family. With Ratan Tata's backing, Shantanu was appointed as the youngest General Manager of Tata Trusts.


In 2023, a dream project of both Shantanu and Ratan Tata came to fruition. With Tata's support, India's first small animal hospital was established in Mumbai. The state-of-the-art facility provided advanced medical care for pets, including emergency services, ICUs, and diagnostic tools like CT scans and MRI. The project was a testament to their shared passion for animal welfare, inspired by Tata's own experiences with his dogs.
